Position Summary:

We are seeking a University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC) student to primarily support Abbott Nutrition’s Research and Development team on a key project that aims to compare the multiple approaches that are used to project labile nutrient degradation. Results will streamline knowledge of this degradation between many departments of Abbott.  

The Student Will Be Responsible For:

  • Reviewing and synthesizing insights from scientific literature
  • Cross comparing the different statistical methods for projecting degradation of labile nutrients
  • Validating generated projections to determine the accuracy of these models
  • Creating a clinical data analysis and summary/brief of your research
  • Communicating findings and progress to applicable project leader on a regular basis
