While our current projects include language design, compiler & JVM, and performance optimization, the lab continues to grow and expand to explore software technologies in new domains (e.g., cloud, distributed computing, smart devices). As such, we are not looking for people w/ a fixed set of skills, but rather for “growth-mindset” people preferably w/ versatile experiences in the field and definitely not daunted by acquiring new skills.

Responsibilities:

• Work involves a good amount of research in performance analysis & optimizations, and program analysis tools design, prototypes and implementation with focus on distributed and cloud computing.

• Be creative, keep on learning, and stay connected w/ the community.

Requirements:

• Enrolled in Ph.D. or M.S. program in Computer Science or related field
