Froberg Aerospace seeks an outstanding and dedicated engineer to join the team in its development of paradigm shifting small satellite propulsion systems. This is a full-time position at Froberg's new headquarters located in Champaign, Illinois.

Responsibilities:

            -Research novel techniques for manufacturing small satellite propulsion systems.  

-Design and execute tests to evaluate efficacy of techniques in relevant environments.

-Work with outside manufacturers and machine shops to build propulsion system elements.

Required Qualifications:

-BS in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or similar field.

-Previous experience with state-of-the-art manufacturing techniques including additive manufacturing.

Desired Qualifications:

-Previous experience in spacecraft or rocket propulsion systems, particularly in materials and/or manufacturing.

-MS or PhD in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or similar field.

Our Core Dev Team designs, codes, tests, and maintains our high-performance, distributed systems that enables trading on more than 80 financial exchanges and processing multi-petabyte datasets on one of the most powerful computing grids in the world. Our Engineers can also collaborate extensively to design, develop, and deploy critical features to the real-time trading platform. Software skills….you should have at least one of the following:

- Strong  C++ programming in a Linux environment with a deep understanding of data structures, threading models, and networking

- Strong python programming with good experience with its data science libraries (Pandas, numpy etc)
