- The ability to work with large-scale distributed systems
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent problem solving, multi-tasking skills
- Great team-working capabilities in an agile development environment
- The passion to build great products, work with great people and change the world
While the programming languages we use depend on the specific domain requirements of each assignment, most of our engineers use languages like Java, C++, Perl, Python, and Pig, an SQL-capable scripting language.
At the Champaign site we have open positions on several software development teams including those that do data collection and delivery, back-end data processing, database storage and retrieval, and front-end user interfaces, both web-oriented and programmatic.
