Innovation Intern - Financial Modeling:
Areas of Responsibility:
· Develop financial models
· Analyzing market segments
· Cost/benefit analysis
· Develop short-long range forecast for innovation prototypes (product/services)
· Prepare presentation documents
· Researching emerging trends
Qualifications:
· Financial portfolio showcasing a mix of financial opportunities
· Proficient excel and financial modeling
· Proficient in using Power Point
· Have a solid understanding of finance, analytics, forecasting, marketing analysis
· The ability to translate quantitative data into strategic business form
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Experience or knowledge product development
· Experience creating executive level presentations and financial data models
· Independent self-starter with the ability to multi-task
· Demonstrated ability to collaborate
· Demonstrated ability in working iteratively
· High level of comfort in receiving and applying feedback
· Provide business partners with the financial impact of strategic opportunities and give recommendations on how to meet financial objectives
Requirements
• Bachelor degree in Business or equivalent; MBA
• Strong competency in relevant financial skills such as profitability analysis and expert financial analysis.
• Broad business knowledge and organizational awareness as well as an understanding of business profitability drivers.
• Proven analytic and quantitative decision making skills required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interface effectively with senior leadership.
• The ability to influence decision making processes without having specific authority.
• Must be technologically savvy in order to drive effective means of analyzing and reporting critical business information.
