Title: Part Time Student - Web UX/UI Developer - Champaign, IL - 3121

Your Responsibilities

The Part-Time Student Program is primarily designed to augment the Company's regular full-time staff, and is for students who work in parallel to their school schedule. In this position you will:

  • Collaborate with UX design team to continually develop and improve the Deere UI framework and UI resources
  • Maintain and update Deere UI framework documentation
  • Prototype app and site designs in HTML/CSS/Java Script
  • Support groups with the implementation of Deere UI framework and logging issues to be corrected in future versions

What It Takes

We need an excellent communicator, who thrives on solving problems and working in a team environment.  Ideally, you will be pursuing a degree in Computer Sciences, IT, or equivalent; others may qualify.  In addition, we require:

  • Must be registered as a full-time student at a local university
  • Must be able to commute to the work location on a daily basis
  • Graduation date of May 2017 or later 
  • Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above 
  • 16 - 20 hours/week during the academic year
  • 35 - 40 hours/week during the summer semester
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word
  • Experience developing with HTML, CSS and Javascript

A strong candidate will also have:

  • Experience with front end building and testing tools
  • Experience with continuous integration tools
  • Experience with Wordpress
