CHAMPAIGN— The News-Gazette's Paul Wood interviewed Sayan Mitra for his Wired In column this week. Sayan Mitra is an associate professor of electrical and computer engineering at the University of Illinois. He and Mahesh Viswanathan are founders of the start-up company Rational CyPhy. Cyphy is developing tools to make transportation software safer, and they were recognized by the National Science Foundation in 2013.
