We are looking for an experienced programmer who knows MATLAB like the back of their hand, and is also fully trained in the art of GYSHIDO.
SO HERE’S THE DEAL:
In our business, not all products are created equally. Some come standard, but others are not a “one size fits all” solution. Some products require detailed customizations which make creating a quote and determining the price pretty tough. Some of our customers actually have to call someone (on the phone) to get a quote for these products ( >_< ) !
That’s why we need YOU to brandish your wizardly skill and help us convert our complex Excel quoting tool, full of intense calculations and enough circular references to make your head spin, to MATLAB so it can talk with Configurator, our online quoting tool. Help us give the people what they want!
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
MATLAB skills on fleek
Confident Excel manipulator
General programing skills – ability to write functions that take inputs and give outputs
Self-starter who enjoys autonomy and is a driven problem solver
Currently enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student at University of Illinois

This is a paid internship for spring 2018 working part-time at AGCO/GSI’s office in the University of Illinois Research Park.
