Electronics Technician
Job Description
Starfire Industries, LLC has an immediate opening for an electronics technician to support research and development efforts across Starfire’s neutron generator and pulsed power module product lines. The successful candidate must have experience building, testing and debugging electronics.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in Electroncis field or equivalent experience
- The ability to read electronic circuit schematics as well as perform basic circuit analysis
- A familiarity with common microcontrollers and basic electronic communication protocols (e.g. SPI, I2C)
- An understanding of basic electronic noise filtering techniques
- The ability to solder electronics circuits and a detailed knowledge of common techniques and best practices
- A proficiency with electronic test and measurement equipment (e.g. oscilloscopes, multimeters, function generators)
Desired
- 2+ years’ post-college work experience
- Experience with any of the following: vacuum systems, plasmas, high-voltage electronics, RF microwave circuits
- Applicants must be eligible to obtain security clearance (requires U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Resident status)
