Position Title: Web Interface Developer Intern
Status: Undergraduate Hourly
Hours per week: 10 - 20 during fall semester

Summary
Nutrien Ag Solutions Champaign Campus, located in the Research Park, is seeking to augment our regular staff and is looking for students who can work in parallel to their school schedule. Participants will be developing web interfaces for prototype products designed to be utilized in proof -of-concept testing throughout the company. Students will be working closely with multidisciplinary team of highly skilled professionals in a fast-paced environment. Nutrien Ag Solutions Champaign Campus is an agricultural analytics business on the leading edge of dynamic soil modeling, crop growth modeling, and weather prediction technology working with the Nutrien Digital group. We are growers, agronomists, scientists, and developers who build world-class software in the heart of the heartland.
What you will do:
- Develop web interfaces for data analysis tools and prototype products that will be tested throughout the company
- Develop interfaces and components that will be used to solve problems in the R&D area
What you will bring:
- Must be registered as a full-time student, Undergraduate or Graduate students
- Must be able to commute to the work location for scheduled work hours
- Cumulative minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0, or equivalent
- Must be authorized to work in the US on a permanent basis without requiring sponsorship
- 10 - 20 hours/week during the fall semester
- A technical mindset with great attention to detail
- Good communication and presentation abilities
- Passion for design and great user experiences
- Ability to build and deliver clean and usable user interfaces
- Working knowledge of web development - HTML/CSS
- Working knowledge of JavaScript/JQuery/React/Angular
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with SQL databases
- Experience with cloud computing solutions, specifically Amazon Web Services
- Creative problem solver with ability to understand the larger picture yet focus on the details
