The Capital One Illinois Digital Campus Lab is located in the Research Park at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and focuses on research and experimentation in data science. A variety of software development groups within Capital One provide students with opportunities to contribute to innovative projects. Projects may involve development for web, tools, large scale data analytics, ML/AI/NLP, SQL/NoSQL databases, open source, cyber security, automation or mobile apps.

Basic Qualifications
- Current undergraduate or graduate student of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field of study
- Completed introductory software development course work or equivalent experience
- Ability to work 10-15 hours/week during the academic year (for fall or spring internships)
- Ability to work 35-40 hours/week during the summer semester (for summer internships)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Python, Java, Javascript, or C/C++
- Experience with relational databases
- Experience with large scale data analytics
- Experience with AWS
- Experience with machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing
This is a paid internship.
