Our engineering teams are focused on delivering the best products across Search, Mail, Mobile, Homepage, Sports, Daily Fantasy and Finance just to name a few, and we have fun while we do it. A Lot About You
We are looking for a full-stack developer to work on a critical internal tool sitting at the heart of our organization. The team uses Node.js on the backend, Ember.js in the front, and a MySQL database.
Even more significant than having used this specific stack is your desire and willingness to work with these technologies on one of the core teams within the organization.
We are a fun group that's passionate about technology. We are committed to providing outstanding, timely customer support, so you’ll get to know lots of folks from across the organization who happen to be leaders in the Open Source and Big Data communities.
We work well with one another and could use another forward-thinking mind to help round out the team!
Required Experience:
• Knowledge of programming concepts, software architecture, networking, and distributed systems, and UNIX/Linux environments
• Demonstrable experience as a full-stack developer using popular backend programming languages (JavaScript, Java, C++, C#)
• Experience working with modern database technologies (Oracle, MongoDB, SQL Server, etc.)
• Experience with modern JavaScript libraries (Angular or React)
• A passion for elegant code
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
The following skills and experience are considered a plus:
• MySQL
• Docker
• Ember.js experience would be incredible!
