CHAMPAIGN, IL., July 28 - Grainger, Caterpillar and AllState, all parnters with Research Park, have announced that they will be participating in the fourth year of the llinois Science and Technology Coalition’s Corporate Startup Challenge. The program matches larger corporatations seeking new innovations with startup companies in need of investors.
Writes the Chicago Tribune: "ISTC President and CEO Mark Harris ⇒ said about 30 startups out of 102 that have participated have established partnerships or are working on deals with corporate partners.
"Demo days will take place at the three companies in November and December, giving curated startups the chance to pitch their products and services."
It was also announced on Tuesday that Research Park partner ADM, a cyber security firm, has partnered with Archer Daniels and Veriflow systems, and will be installing a Veriflow system in one of its corn-processing facilities.
