Position Summary:

 

We are seeking a University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC) student to primarily support Abbott Nutrition’s Health Institute (ANHI) team on developing content for ANHI social media posts. This project will increase exposure and awareness of ANHI through new media channels.

 

The Student Will Be Responsible For:

 

·       Creating original and creative content for social media channels (LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.)

·       Developing social media posts containing requested digital media content

·       Communicating ideas and content to project leader on a regular basis

·       Part-time employment with Abbott at the UIUC Research Park during the academic year

·       Minimum of 8-10 hr/week and maximum of 19 hr per week

Qualifications:

 

·       Must be enrolled as a student at UIUC

·       Pursuing an Undergraduate or Graduate degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or related field.

·       Graphic Design experience is a plus

·       Adobe InDesign experience preferred

·       Background in science or health care field preferred but not required

·       Previous experience managing social media accounts preferred

·       Excellent verbal/written English language skills

·       Independent, reliable, able to meet deadlines, responds well to feedback

·       Attention to detail, effective communicator, creative thinker, and process oriented

 

 

Start Date/Duration: Spring Semester 2017
