Computer Hardware Technician

St. Michael's Group is seeking an individual to assemble customized rack mount computer systems. This individual will follow company established policies regarding system assembly and deployment. This person will also be required to troubleshoot system components to ensure quality of work. The professional we seek will have a high energy level with great interpersonal skills and enjoys multiple challenges. 

 

Responsibilities:

 

Assembling and testing of servers

Programming and installing new hardware/software for the servers

Install and/or replace server components

Repair and Debug Servers

Troubleshooting hardware/software for servers. 

 

Job Requirements

 

Minimum 1-2 years of related work experience in electronic or computer industry

Experience in assembling computer systems

Familiarity with mechanical assembly, cable routing, and quality standards

Good communication skills, including both written and verbal

Ability to regularly lift, push and/or move up to 50 pounds

Standing, walking, stooping, bending, and reaching required.

Ability to stand for a prolonged period of time

Ability to work on ladders or stools
