Position Summary:
We are seeking a University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC) student to primarily support Abbott Nutrition’s Clinical and Nutrition Science team on a key project that aims to inform research and development the direction and area that our competitors are going into. Results will help develop counterstrategies including building our market driven innovation pipeline to continue maintaining competitive advantages of our brands.
The Student Will Be Responsible For:
Reviewing and synthesizing insights from scientific literature
Analyzing product portfolios and clinical trials of key competitors
Summarizing research into an organized database
Communicating findings and progress to applicable project leader on a regular basis

Minimum of 8-10 hr/week and maximum of 19 hr per week

Qualifications:
Must be enrolled as a Graduate student at UIUC
Must have at least one year of experience in Graduate school
Preferred field of study in Public Health, Human Nutrition, or health-related discipline
Experience using Endnote, PudMed, and other databases
Experience using MS Office applications
Ability to manipulate and organize large spreadsheets in Excel
Attention to detail, effective communicator, and excellent verbal/written English language skills
Self-motivated problem solver that can lead a project from beginning to end
Start Date/Duration: Summer 2018 into Fall 2018 Semester with Possibility for Extension
